Today we discussed getting data on domain registrations by legal persons vs natural persons.
Please see below an update on the legal vs. natural differentiation study from Karen Lentz at ICANN Org.

Dear EPDP Team members,

I am writing to provide you with an update on ICANN org’s work on the study regarding differentiating between legal and natural persons (Ph 1 Rec 17.2). Thank you to those of you who provided your input in the questionnaire we did in March and helped to share it. We received over 200 responses. We are finishing our analysis of this and other information and are working to make the output as useful as possible to the discussions.

We are nearly complete with the report, but need a couple more weeks to fully synthesize and present all of the information. We understand the interest around this topic and are working to have this ready to share as soon as possible.

We have noted the various inputs and discussions in the EPDP Team for options around Priority 2 items including differentiation between legal and natural persons. We are ready to support next steps as determined by team, and hope this update is useful to those considerations.

Thank you
Karen
