I have an administrative request regarding the seconding of a candidate to the ccNSO Council, as posted in the online Council nomination archive, when MD FARIZ AHMAD SANUSI seconded the self-nomination by Sami Mohamed Ali (.bh) for a role on the ccNSO Council.

According to the latest ccNSO Council Election Guideline, only the ccNSO Representative of a ccTLD Manager is eligible to nominate/second candidates for the ccNSO Council.   The .my Representative for ccNSO purposes is:

For the current round of Council nominations, the Council leadership has recommended the following procedure:  In the case of an incoming nomination or seconding from a non-representative, the Election Manager will send a copy of the nomination or seconding to the attention of the ccTLD representative, requesting explicit confirmation of the validity of the nomination or seconding.

To ensure that we meet all formal requirements and that candidates are properly nominated and seconded according to the applicable ccNSO Council Election Guideline, please confirm the nomination made by Md Fariz Ahmad Sanusi. Please reply to this email - sent by the ccNSO representative of your ccTLD - no later than Tuesday, October 3, 2023 (23:59 UTC).
