"Verisign will be allowed to increase the wholesale price to registrars for
.COM domains every year for 8 out of the next 10 years"

While I certainly understand the need to raise prices to meet business
demand, there is a limit to what that demand commands. As a small business
owner, I have to be conscious of every dollar spent. A website is a
necessary business expense. The domain should not be a deal breaker.
ICANN's decision to make this deal with Verisign was done without
notification to the ICANN community. One of the most important rules of
business is to know your customer. This decision not only appears that you
do not know your customer's, you simply do not care about us. That is
tragic.

Please limit the price increases. Give small businesses a chance to
succeed. Give us the opportunity to play on an equal playing field.
