The plan to increase .COM prices sounds like a bad idea fueled by a
conflict of interest. Verisign puts money towards ICANN who then sets
industry rules and standards that benefit Verisign. It doesn't sound like a
move that is being made to benefit the industry, the internet, or it's
users. It sounds like a move to benefit two companies involved in the deal
and that's about it.
