[Comments-org-renewal-18mar19] Keep Price Caps

I am writing in concern for the Request for Comment on the .org TLD renewal. As someone who runs and administers multiple websites for non-profit organizations who utilize .org domains, it concerns me that a vendor would allow prices to go uncapped. Many organizations that utilize .org domains are non-profit and have very low operating budgets, and many can only afford a .org domain. It actively discourages non-profit organizations from having a domain presence on the public internet. While for-profit businesses can afford higher costs, non-profit organizations cannot. It is the same as raising rent to someone who is living on a fixed-income. Changes to their budget cannot easily be absorbed, and it may cause frustration with the organizations.

Thanks for requesting comments on this topic. While other organizations for other TLD's may be able to absorb a price increase, non-profits, especially smaller ones, cannot.

Sincerely,
