The fact that a single organization is granted a monopoly over .org
addresses practically guarantees profitability - this popular TLD
practically *guarantees* profit. Thus, regulation is warranted to ensure
that prices remain stable. A 10% increase in price is *already* excessive,
to be honest, but if you grant unlimited price increases to a monopoly
utility, without allowing competitors to bid for the right to provide TLD
services, you are dooming this domain to pricing the non-profits out. .org
is very important to many non-profits, such as mine. If the price continues
to go up without limit, you'll price me out. Please don't allow this to
happen,
