A domain name is an essential part of modern internet presence. This
includes everyone from large corporations.....right down to 1 man behind
his desk.

Nobody should be forced to pay thousands of pounds just for a few
kilobytes of a DNS record. It's an absolute crime.

This would critically hurt thousands of companies and individuals that
currently own .org domains. ICANN is supposed to be for the people. The
only people I can see who would benefit from such an action would be the
so-called 'brokers' who buy and sell domain names trying to earn a
profit....
