[Comments-org-renewal-18mar19] ---- Why the .Org TLD Fee Cap Removal is a Very, Very Bad Idea ----

Hello. Having worked with many current and aspiring non-profits, I can say
with certainty that removing fee limitations on the .Org domain (and
related TLDs) would destroy many of these non-profits, and prevent new ones
from being created. Many non-profits only have one registered domain, that
being their .Org TLD, and creating a dog-eat-dog environment, where only
the rich, or already established non-profits can exist, is simply wrong.

Many non-profits are very, very small, often consisting of only a few
individuals, and depend on their single .Org website, the web traffic to
it, and, moreover, the price consistency and stability that affords them
the ability to even purchase a .Org domain in the first place. With a
removed fee cap, and unrestricted capitalism in full effect, there is
likely no way that these well-meaning nonprofits, and aspiring non-profit
founders, could ever achieve the success they deserve.

Please, I urge you to reconsider.

Millions of people's livelihoods depend on your decision.
