Hi,

The situation of third word countries that create internacional initiatives
on the web should be considered. Org domains are not only of US-based non
profits, but also for more-than-one-country or international projects.

10 us$ in those countries is a lot of money, and the total amount of money
collected by domain registrars is abusive. Probably making domains yet more
expensive will lead to what happened to domain SSL certificates... market
moving out of payed providers.
