The current limit to a 10% increase in registration fees per year is surely beyond the actual cost increases for managing .org. But you may have heard the saying, “Nonprofit doesn’t mean no profit!”  PIR should be taken to the woodshed for seeking such over-profitability when managing the singular, precious, original .org TLD. If they don’t like the job, please hand it over to someone else who would!
