Item 2 - Approve Nominating Committee job description (10 mins)

Item 3 - Status update on Inter-Registrar Transfer Policy Planning Group

Item 4 - 'Whois Studies' (10 mins)
- Set up team to create a studies suggestion form

"Part 3 of the resolution: Recognizes the demand for future policy 
development including, but not limited to, ensuring appropriate privacy 
safeguards for natural persons, lawful access to data for rights 
enforcement, consumer protection, law enforcement and anti-crime 
purposes and will immediately initiate the following sequential actions:
1) Council shall provide additional definition regarding the potential 
data gathering and study requirements
2) staff shall provide the Council with rough cost estimates for various 
components of data gathering and studies no later than February 15th, 2008;
3) the Council will decide what data gathering and studies would be 
pursued; and
4) staff will perform the resulting data gathering and studies and 
report the results back to the Council."

Item 5 - IDNC and new ccTLD allocation issues discussion (30 mins)

IDNC Charter

a. - description of the issue

b. - report on GNSO chair exchange with ccNSO chair

c. - report on any preparatory meeting that may have been held

d. - consider a formal request to ICANN Board for clarification on 
whether they approved the details of the ccNSO charter (i.e. only 2 gNSO 
representatives) or were approving a balanced and equal participation as 
the resolution (07.89) itself seems to indicate.

e. - consider a request to ask Board to consider opening IDNC to 
equitable particpation

f. - discuss need to determine current gNSO position on creating IDN 
ccTLDs and its relation to the GSNO ccNSO.GAC question repsonses

g. - status of the reworking of the GNSO question responses

Item 6 - Chose representative selection for IDNC (30 mins)

This part of the meeting may be closed since it will involve discussion 
of candidates for the 2 open positions on the IDNC

a. Decide on closing and halting the recording for this part of the meeting

b. Discuss candidates and pick 2 as required by the current IDNC charter

Item 7 - Action Item Review (10 mins)
