ideally, the classification chosen or developed, should be consistent
across the different sources and/or layers of information. I know some are
allergic to the idea of numbers ("like in ITU" as one Councilor recently
said just before jumping into a plane to Busan), but ICANN is too well
known in the outside world for its long acronyms as well. And, for example,
just last week GAC decided to change the Cross Community Acronym by putting
and additional C in the front of CWG. So we need some clarity and
consistency if we want to open up to a wider pool of voluntary parties.
