Folks

A comma (in red) that should not be there. Otherwise, perfect

Holly

When you mentioned grammarians, I couldn't resist so I did a full edit. I hope it's helpful.

=======================
The members of the At-Large Advisory Committee (ALAC) appreciate the opportunity to submit this addendum to the statement that was submitted on 29 July 2020.

The ALAC, along with its EPDP team, has reviewed and discussed the statements submitted by the BC/IPC, the consensus positions submitted by the GAC and SSAC and comments submitted by the other EPDP Member groups.

Although the ALAC statement differs in approach, the ALAC is in general agreement with the positions taken by the GAC, SSAC and BC/IPC. The ALAC has chosen to dissent with the recommendations, that required a year of heated debate to produce, with some trepidation. However, proceeding without addressing the issues that, we believe, are critical to the success of an SSAD will result in a system that will not meet needs of SSAD users nor provide the mechanism to resolve those deficiencies in the future. We hope that the GNSO and, if necessary, the Board will consider these unresolved issues as this approval process moves forward.

   I think that DEBATE is correct in this case. As in the title of this
