P.S. While I am grateful (as a native English speaker) that English is
currently the "lingua franca" for communication here and in many other
settings, it really has its weaknesses for that role -- words that sound
similar but have opposite meanings, multiple words that mean almost the
same thing, too many exceptions to too many rules, etc., etc.  Consider
that "flammable" and "inflammable" mean the same thing, but "coherent" and
"incoherent" mean the opposite.  Esperanto anyone?  :-)
