So Jones Day is on the inside leg and maybe that is not all good. Yes, we
know they are responsible for the legal environment of ICANN, the
corporation; told y'all a long time ago it is a lot more useful to focus on
Jones Day analysis of transition than any other. Let's get real. A
director of an American corporation would be dumber than a small pet rock
to deal with all these matters absent counsel they know. And more
important, they can consistently trust. It is what it is. You play the
hand you get.

Second, it is not the legal jockey's fault that we ask them to answer
political - as opposed to legal - questions. Said it before. If I had my
shingle hung and got in on this deal, know well I would bill every red cent
my time affords. We got off light, IMHO.

Turn up for a gunfight with a knife and it serves you right to get shot
between the eyes at 300 feet.
