Dear CCOICI members,

Now that the TF assignment form has been submitted to the GNSO Council for its non-objection (see https://mm.icann.org/pipermail/council/2021-October/025038.html), it is time to turn the committee’s attention to the next assignment which is:

Consider if/how WG Self-Assessment can be improved and possibly enhanced with a periodic assessment as well as exit interview with interested parties to help identify at an early stage potential issues as well as future improvements to be considered. This could potentially be combined with the WG Chair assessment as outlined in PDP 3.0 improvement #13. Council Committee to also consider the findings of the most recent WG Self-Assessments to determine if there are other improvements the GNSO Council should consider.

To assist you in your preparation for this assignment, the staff support team has put together the attached document that should contain all the necessary background information in relation to this assignment. In addition, in order to obtain your input at the outset of the deliberations, we’ve worked with Olga on the following survey to obtain your input: https://engage.clicktools.com/v2/1z8ou20rg6lcn. Please review this information and complete the survey by Monday 11 October at the latest. The next meeting of the CCOICI has been scheduled for Wednesday 13 October at 13.00 UTC. Your response to the survey will be key in determining next steps for tackling this assignment.
