[GNSO-CCOICI] CCOICI next steps

Dear All,

As you know, I’ve volunteered to take over chairing the CCOICI for the
remainder of its work

Although my role still needs to be formally confirmed by the Council, the
staff support team has reached out to propose the following next steps to
complete the Committee’s work on the Working Group Self-Assessment:

The public comment forum has now closed. The staff support team has
gathered the comments related to the WGSA in the following discussion
table:

Please also review the comments in full (see

– note that any late submissions will be appended to the public comment
report which is expected to be published in the course of next week.

Please review the suggestions received and provide your feedback in the
table at the bottom of the google doc.

Based on the feedback received, we will determine whether further meetings
are necessary or whether the proposed suggestions can be incorporated in
the recommendations report (see
https://itp.cdn.icann.org/en/files/generic-names-supporting-organization-council-gnso-council/ccoici-review-working-group-self-assessment-requirements-01-09-2022-en.pdf).


Please provide your input by *5 December* at the latest. If we finish in
time, we might be able to submit the final version of the report in time
for the Council's consideration by its December meeting (document deadline
9 December).

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. Hopefully we can
wrap up this part of our work soon.


On a different note, I’ll also be working with the staff support team to
prepare a motion for the Council to consider the WS2 recommendations report
which was discussed during the last Council meeting.
