Dear all,

To introduce myself, I am Alan Woods, one of the Registry Stakeholder Group
EPDP representatives. I hold a compliance and policy position within Donuts
Inc. and as a qualified barrister (lawyer/advocate) from Ireland, I do hope
to be able to provide an Irish and thus a Eurocentric perspective to the
EPDP deliberations. As a member of the Donuts compliance team, I do hope to
be able to contribute a practical knowledge of the daily exigencies of the
ICANN contracts. I also hold the responsibility for providing guidance,
implementation, and maintenance of the various Data Protection legislative
requirements generally within Donuts Inc., something which shall also
hopefully be of benefit to the wider EPDP work.

I was/continue to be a member of the RDS PDP. I also co-chaired the Working
Group for the *Framework for the Registry Operator to Respond to Security*
*Threats* to its successful conclusion.

I look forward to working with you all on this mammoth task!

Kind regards,

Alan Woods
