Thanks for your input. There is currently a question in the survey “Based on the application materials and your own knowledge about the candidates, please rate candidates' effectiveness and experience at diplomatic, accurate and effective communication.” Do you feel like this covers the criteria you identify at a high level? If not, is there an adjustment you could suggest that would capture the idea, consistent with what is included in the call for volunteers: https://community.icann.org/display/GSSC/GAC+Liaison+-+2020?

Dear Emily:
My comment on registering the endorsement status of the candidate is settled. I guess the GAC liaison should possess acute listening/decoding skills for the political nuances that comes with GAC politics and how they might impact the larger ICANN policy-making infrastructure.  Not sure how you would telegraph that in a question.
