Looks interesting.. and possible..

A couple of queries...

Someone with an iPad keeps the attendance register? who would that be?

Do "events" include working groups? Would that be possible too?

an event

Dear All,

I was been looking for mobile apps that can track attendence at events.

and I found one that looks promising :

Attendence2 website http://www.dave256apps.com/attendance2/

It is for iOS (meaning for Apple iPhone, iPad).

Here's a 2 min video which covers the key features :
http://youtu.be/9s7m14t5LL4

- supports the importing of attendee contacts from CSV files

- syncing of information to/from Dropbox.

- customisible status for reporting although the default "absent, present,
Excused and Late" seemed adequate.

- able to generate reports for each person for each "event" or meeting
which can be emailed or saved to dropbox as CSV files

- has the ability to scan QR codes (although we probably won't use that now)

- actively being developed.

- $4.99 US

Downsides are that its text based so there are no pretty "visuals" but the
workflow seems solid
