[Npoc-discuss] Important Developments Regarding the ICANN IANA Transition

On August 17th the US Government announced an extension of the IANA 
functions contract for another year. The move recognizes what everyone 
suspected, that preparations for the IANA stewardship transition and 
accountability reforms will require more time and will not be completed 
in time for the initial September 30, 2015 target date.
