[NPOC-EC] A new position for the NCSG EC - two applications for your consideration

I would like to express my interest in the role of the NPOC representative
to the NCSG EC. I have the dedications, time commitment and skills required
to perform the duties that comes with this role.

In my day job as an Assistant Administrative Manager, part of the duties I
performed are vetting and selecting people for employment.  This can be
likened to the role of reviewing membership applications, which is one of
the major role to be performed in this volunteer opportunity. Furthermore,
I have all the skills it takes to be part of making decisions at the
stakeholder group level. As the Founder and President of E-Governance and
Internet Governance Foundation for Africa (EGIGFA), I engage with my team
members and our partners to discuss issues and arrive at a good consensus.
It will also interest the NPOC EC to note that I represent the NCSG at the
GNSO's Standing Selection Committee where high level activities, such as
reviewing applicants to various roles and arriving at amicable consensus
are made. I play my role well in this position.

Furthermore, I am in a position to give constant and accurate report on
what transpires to the NPOC EC.

I strongly believe I will be a good representative of the NPOC at the NCSG
EC and will be glad to be given the chance to volunteer for this role.

*2. Bukola Oronti *

I write to express my interest in the above subject referred. I am the
contact representing the Internet Society Nigeria Chapter in NPOC. I am one
of the executive council members, my interest in the growth of Not for
profit and looking for great opportunities such as representing NPOC in
NCSG EC has presented an opportunity of a lifetime as I have always wanted
to engage, participate and contribute to NPOC.
I see myself well suited for this position because I believe I understand
what the responsibilities are and I am willing to give my best self to the
service. I will also be able to use my office to give periodic reports to
the NPOC EC on conversations that are ongoing in the EC.

I am willing to give a considerable amount of time in reviewing policy
documents that are on for discussions to help make an informed decision on
behalf of NPOC with due consultation with the NPOC leadership at the NCSG
level.
I am willing to assist the membership committee in reviewing members
applications and making fair judgments in the processes.
