Hello, Caleb,

I read your comments, read my response below:

*1 - Raoul’s apology in the minutes to be shared with the community*
First of all, the apology of Raoul is not an Agenda Item. My role is to
inform the community about the agenda items discussed and the decisions or
action points. Secondly, publishing Raoul’s apology publicly does not make
sense to me because the community was not part of the close discussion that
EC has in the Skype group. He apologized to you. He also apologized to EC
members who were part of that discussion on Skype. Unless you want a public
apology. It’s bickering and disconcerting going in that direction, because
the minutes are not just for the NPOC community but we also publish it on
the website for the whole world. I cannot capture that in minutes. Let’s
refrain from airing our dirty laundry in public.

*2- Quoting your sessions of charter violations*

It’s a minute to inform the team on important items that we discuss and
action points. It’s a straight-to-the-point document like in every
institution. We had a more than 2-hour meeting. If I have to quote every
team member word by word, all our arguments and point of view, I don't
think that can be captured in a 1 or 2-page document and I don’t think it
will bring any value for the community. This is not the first time I’m
sharing a minute and I can say with confidence that it has never posed a
problem to anyone. Even Ore, who was my predecessor, has never done so? ALL
Minutes of the last few years are available on the website for your
reference. I may be wrong, but since NCUC is now a reference point in terms
of procedure, maybe you can share their best practices regarding minutes.
As a member since 2017, I have never got the opportunity to read the NCUC
EC minutes and their debates. If we want the community to listen to our
full debate, let's extend the next EC invitations to the community and let
us publish the recording instead of a minute.

3- *Raoul’s commitment to publishing the expected criteria and standard
for selection.*

Raoul Responded to your question regarding this. Kindly listen to the
audio for your reference. Also, I think we came to the conclusion that you
will share a draft with the EC for our comments and vote. If this was not
the case, I would like to hear from Raoul and update the minute.

4- * ‘Please listen to the recording to completely capture the
conversation.’*

No comment. Refer to my response to your question 2.

Kind regards,

Emmanuel
