Elana,

I thought an email contained a second that was sent to the list (at least, I
remember seeing Bob reply to it with his statement).  Bob's message of
Sunday, October 5th shows Jean-Michel and John Wong as the nominations and
seconder respectively, so I assumed all was in order.

Frankly, I would have happily seconded Bob, but assumed it was already done
and not required.

I recommend that Bob be immediately added to the ballot, especially in light
of the fact that no annoucement was made to the list stating that Bob had no
seconder when it appeared that he did.

The rules of procedure require a nomination and a second, and acceptance
with a conflict statement.  There seems to be no record of the second prior
to the cut off date on Monday.  We asked Bob for his seconds, but hadn't
gotten a response.  If there had been a mistake, the ballot can be revised,
but can you please show where the second was made, accepted and conflict
statement filed by monday?

Ok ... I will bite ...

I thought Bob Connely was also nominated, seconded and put his statement to
the list for these positions.

I see no traffic about him being excluded, so can someone that made the
decision to exclude him please speak up !
