[registrars] Registrar Constituency Budget

Thanks Marcus. I absolutely agree with you and we intend to increase
membership. The budget estimates a 20% membership increase (50 to 60).
I think that we could do much better. We plan to accomplish this by:
1) waiving the initial enrollment fee that we used to charge; 2) sending
a letter encouraging membership to all ICANN accredited registrars
(perhaps removing duplicate addresses from the mailing so Paul, Rob,
Bhavin, and others aren't inundated with mail); 3) having a letter from
the RC in the ICANN welcome packet for new registrars; and 4) attending
regional registrar meetings in coordination with ICANN staff (i.e. the
Barcelona meeting in May and a potential meeting in Asia in October).

Thanks again.

Jon

Hi Jon,

this may be a bit offtopic but are there any plans to promote rc
membership to more ICANN registrars? That way we could increase the
income while also increasing the interest in the RC.
