[RZERC] RZERC Teleconference on 16 December 2019

Dear RZERC members,

Due to a combination of technical problems, and perhaps the rescheduling following the doodle poll, we did not have enough participants today to hold our regular meeting.  

The most urgent item of business before the committee was whether or not to provide a comment to IANA regarding the future KSK rollover plan.  Based on the discussion from our November meeting, and the subsequent on-list discussion, I'd say there were four members expressing mild support and one expressing strong objection.  Therefore, I do not sense a strong enough consensus for RZERC to provide a comment.  If you feel that I have misrepresented the committee's stance on this, please speak up now.

One other item I wanted to cover today was to follow up on the reappointment of members, which also relates to the chair election.  I will work with ICANN staff to provide an update here, as well as scheduling our next meeting.
