[CCWG-ACCT] Lawyers' Comments on Annex 7 (Scope of IRP)

Dear CCWG-ACCT Co-Chairs, Members, Participants and ICANN Staff,

Attached please find comments from Sidley and Adler on the Final Draft of Annex 7 (Scope of IRP).  Please note the following:


·         Paragraph 11, Graphic:  We recommend adjusting the first step in the diagram so that it reads “ENTER INTO COOPERATIVE ENGAGEMENT OR MEDIATION”

·         Paragraph 22:  With respect to the last sentence of this paragraph (pasted below), we recommend clarifying whether “available upon request” means that the panelist will need to be included on the panel or available for consultation.

o   “To the extent that individual Panelists have one or more of these areas of expertise, the process must ensure that this expertise is available upon request.”

·         We added page numbers, to conform with other annexes.

Please note that we will give this Annex one more review when we review the entire draft of the CCWG Proposal in close to final form.
