I have a problem: Brian added in v10 some language I found very useful, in the Findings section of WG4. This language explains the ATRT view of the incomplete IIC work. 
 
Among the edits, Brian proposed to add this paragraph:
 
The ATRT notes that work by ICANN and the Community to address recommendations of the IIC was underway.  Public Comment had been received on proposed bylaw changes but implementation work did not advance for reasons stated in ICANN staff's response to WG4's Request for Information.  The ATRT recognizes that exploration by ICANN staff and the Community of revised, new mechanisms could continue.  With respect to the AoC review, the ATRT identified specific issues with respect to the review mechanisms that should be addressed by ICANN in conjunction with a committee of independent experts.  

 

There were no comments on Brian's edits, the comments focusing on the recommendation 1 of WG4. This text however disappeared from the WG4 version Brian just sent us.

 

I think that such an explanation in the finfings section will be very hepful to understand the first recommendation of the WG4 and should be introduced in the report.

 

Concerning the formulation of the first recommendation, I can live with the "old" one with tthe 2 "three", provided that Brian edits to the findings are reintroduced.

 

I would also suggest to add the following sentence at the end of the recommendation:


The specific issues identified by the ATRT with respect to the review mechanisms should be addressed in this context.
