[Gnso-newgtld-dg] Introductions

Hello,

I am Mike Rodenbaugh. I run a small law and consulting firm near San
Francisco, and have focused on trademark, domain name and copyright issues
since 1995. I was active on the GNSO Council, as a leader of the Business
Constituency, from 2006-2010 as the New gTLD Program principles and AGB
were developed. I served on about a dozen new gTLD working groups during
that time and since. More recently I have assisted several dozen gTLD
applicants in a variety of contexts through the various stages of the
application, dispute resolution and delegation processes.

Like Tony, I fear interminable delay to further release of more new TLDs,
as there are vested interests against them. But on the other hand, the
program ought to have a fair review and improvements should be made before
a next round is opened. Clearly there have been problems in this round
that need to be fixed so that future applicants have more transparent and
predictable processes. I look forward to working with everyone to ensure
that happens reasonably soon.

Thanks,
Mike
