Indeed, good point, Susan, I’d fully support that.

Best regards

Hello All,

I am now concerned with the Board resolution for the CCTrt and confusion on what recommendations were actually accepted and how the others that are in a "pending" status, which reads rejected to me, will be treated in the long run.

I know we relied on the CCTrt report to cover concerns that we identified with compliance. I made the assumption that we did not need to duplicate any of their work but if those recs we relied on are rejected or never taken out of the pending status then we will not have fulfilled our goals with our report.

I may have time tomorrow to refresh my memory on the recs we relied on. Could be it isn't a problem but if it is we may need to add to our report. Considering it has been delayed this late a few more days should not matter.

Alan, Cathrin, Susan,

Once you confirm the latest version of report is final, I will remove the note on ICANN64 session and forward full report to language services.

Can you please also confirm you wanted the report separated from appendices (meaning a ToC will be created for each).

Many thanks in advance,

Kind regards,

Jean-Baptiste

Hi Alan,

The translation is on the exec summary only prior to publication but given that the Language Services team are engaged during the ongoing ICANN64 meeting, the amount of time needed to do the translation will be longer.
Kind regards,

Do I understand correctly that we will not issue the report until issue the report until all translations are done? I am not aware that this was the norm. Perhaps the Exec Summary, but I do not recall waiting for entire report translations before publication.

Dear Alan, dear Cathrin, dear Susan,

Following up on my below email, once edit in report and fact sheets are approved, we will send the approved final version to Language Services to proceed with translation process, which will take several days.

Once all translations have been received, we will let you know so that the report can be sent out to the ICANN Board, which shall be then published for public comment in advance of the Board's consideration.

Please note that we, your supporting team, will send the final report to the ICANN Board on the review team’s/your behalf. Before doing so, we will prepare, for your review and approval, the email language that will accompany the report.

Kind regards,

Jean-Baptiste

Dear Alan

Saw your message and reviewed the report. Thank you for addressing my previous comments.

Please find attached the latest version, including one edition for your review.

Please note that I have inserted the latest version of the fact sheet (through 28 February 2019) which is pending approval from Susan (see previous email sent to leadership list).

A few comments on your to-do list:

- Redo the Table of Contents once everything else is done - DONE
- Please do a final review looking for orphan headings and such. I
noticed 3.4.2 but there may be others. - DONE
- We seem to use Finding: and Findings: I suspect they should all be
Findings: but perhaps some of them are really singular. I'll leave that to you. - DONE
- The table on page 54/55 needs the title row repeated on the 2nd page. – DONE (also on other tables for clarity and consisentency)
- The same for the table in 3.7.2 - DONE
- Is blank page 148 intentional? And 172. (perhaps there to get a
heading on the right side) – Did not see blank pages?
- Appendix D needs to be inserted. – DONE (approval neeeded from Susan on fact sheets)
- Appendix F needs to be inserted or pointed to. - DONE
- Stephanie's statement which I hope is forthcoming. – RECEIVED AND INSERTED

Kind regards,
Jean-Baptiste

    Jean-Baptiste,

    I have:

    1. Accepted the various changes in v05.

    2. Fixed the R5.1 implementation paragraph that Jean-Batiste
    identified as being problematic.

    3. Removed the paragraph referencing GDPR in the R5.1 rationale which
was the sticking point in getting Volker and Stephanie to support it.

    4. Ran a spelling and grammar check. Most of what it identified were
ok, but it did catch some problems and those were fixed.

    5. Fixed the spelling of InterNIC in a few places.

    To Do:

    - Redo the Table of Contents once everything else is done
    - Please do a final review looking for orphan headings and such. I

    - Appendix D needs to be inserted.
    - Appendix F needs to be inserted or pointed to.
    - Stephanie's statement which I hope is forthcoming.

That's about as much as I could find.
