About Whois-iag-volunteers | |
ICANN created this Implementation Advisory Group (IAG) to review and suggest potential changes to the implementation of the ICANN Procedure for Handling WHOIS Conflicts with Privacy Laws. The IAG is tasked with reviewing the steps of the Procedure and identifying possible changes to ease the burden on contracted parties in order to remain in compliance with local privacy laws, as well as meet ICANN’s requirements for data retention. The IAG will explore whether any of the Procedure’s elements ought to be amended in order to strike this balance. Any changes made will be in line with the Procedure’s underlying policy, which was adopted by the GNSO in 2005. By submitting my personal data, I agree that my personal data will be processed in accordance with the ICANN Privacy Policy and agree to abide by the website Terms of Service.
