We would like to bring to your attention a session that may be of interest to you during the LA meeting.  Please share this with your members.

BWG NomCom Report<http://la51.icann.org/en/schedule/wed-bwg-nomcom> -  Wed, 15 October 2014 - 11:00 to 12:15 PDT in Santa Monica (Room).

This session provides a forum for community discussion of the Report by the Board Working Group on Nominating Committee (BWG-NomCom). The recommendations in the BWG-NomCom report have potential effects on the NomCom structure. The recommendations would result in an increase in the number of appointees from ccNSO and ASO and a reduction in the GNSO appointees. GAC representation could increase at GAC discretion. Overall, the size of the NomCom would increase from 21 to 25-27 individuals.

Public Comment<https://www.icann.org/public-comments/bwg-nomcom-2014-08-21-en> period is open until 13 November and provides an opportunity for the GNSO Community to offer their input and feedback on the BWG NomCom Report.

We encourage participation in this session and submission of comments.
