Hi Ayden,

Again, thanks for the time and effort you put into your proposed edits.

You had an opportunity to provide suggested edits and the vast majority were accepted, despite the fact you sent them after the deadline. 
I believe you could have accurately and appropriately presented your legitimate views/concerns on the subject without using extreme and inflammatory terms like “bad faith,” “disruptive,” “discredited,” and alleging that other SO/ACs are intentionally sending bad actors to disrupt GNSO proceedings and/or to protect their own.
The GNSO has a long history of seeking participation from other SOs and ACs, particularly the GAC. 
I believe including your proposed language could undermine that effort and create the perception that the full GNSO Council shares your views or would support including these terms in the report, when I do not believe that is the case.
In that you submitted your comments late and there is not time for other Councilors to adequately consider and react, I chose to not include that particular text it in the report.

I hope you’ll understand this reasoning.

You have highlighted roughly two sentences that I added into the document out of 150 or so edits which I proposed. I have not re-reviewed the document to see which changes were ultimately accepted and which were not, but I had thought the intention was for this to be an accurate summary of the discussions that had been had during the Session and intended to reflect all views which had been expressed. I do remember us having a sustained conversation on this topic and the potential harm that could result to the GNSO’s reputation by GNSO processes being delayed. If that is not the case and only certain views are to be captured in this document, perhaps it would be better to have transcripts in the future.

I have asked Steve to incorporate some of your stylistic edits and some additional language, but I don’t think we can include the commentary on the participation of other SO/AC members in the EPDP and suggestions that other groups are sending discredited and disruptive members to engage with the GNSO.  That’s not something we should include in our formal report on the SPS.
