Hi all,
my name is Thomas Rickert and I am one of the representatives of the ISPCP on this group.

I am a lawyer and managing partner of Rickert Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft based in Bonn, German. Additionally, I have been working with ISPCP member eco Association of the Internet Industry for some 20 years and represent eco at ICANN for some 10 years. I have been a member of the GNSO Council for two terms from 2011-2015. Currently, I am one of the co-chairs of the CCWG-Accountability and have been active in various PDPs.

I am one of the co-authors of the eco GDPR Domain Industry Playbook, a paper which analyzed all data flows and proposes a data model to allow for GDPR-compliant operations in the ICANN world including all parties concerned (Registries, registrars, resellers, ICANN, Escrow Agents for Rys and Rrs, the EBERO and Whois customers) and advise numerous companies in the area of GDPR.

For full disclosure, I would like it to be known that our law firm represents EPAG in the proceedings that ICANN started in Bonn.

All the best,
Thomas

Please select a member of your group to speak for all of you. I have also asked that each member send in a brief “bio” (2-4 sentences) that we can post in the team wiki pages. (We have received one so far.)

I have sat through many meetings that start late, calculating the combined hourly rate of attendees waiting for the meeting to start. Thanks in advance for making your best efforts here. I certainly understand you have professional matters that must be addressed and might delay your entry from time to time.
