[IOT] IOT Call of 11 July and additional notes

Dear members of the IRP IOT:



We had a disappointing lack of quorum on our scheduled call today so I had to end the call.



Nonetheless, I made some procedural (informational) comments and they were recorded so there will be a brief record of the call.



Our next call is Thursday, July 20, at 13:00 UTC and we need your attendance. Along with our agenda items I will introduce Anna Loup who will be joining our group - Anna assisted Ed Morris on CEP (see my mail of July 4th about CEP - we need to address the subject and so I will be sending an email on it in next couple of days).



We need to make progress on the rules and in giving feedback to ICANN or the process-flow document that Liz sent to us this morning. Therefore, I will be a bit more active on the list in the coming weeks - please give these emails a read and let's try to close out some issues via the list.



On process-flow, I will be commenting as well - let's also move this by list as it is critically important in getting the new IRP up and functional.



One final point, I plan to take up Avri's comment today about handling future calls if we happen to lack quorum. We will proceed in future to have an informational call - obviously not a decisional one. Let's hope this approach isn't needed.



So, look for some matters coming on the list in next couple of weeks.
